Pond Management Workshop 9-6-18


A Pond Management Workshop will be held on Thursday, September 6th near Georgetown, Illinois. 


A pork chop sandwich, chips and water will be served at 6 pm.  Please email us at lisa.leigh@il.nacdnet.net or call (217) 442-8511 ext. 3 to RSVP.


IDNR Fish biologist, Mike Garthaus will shock the pond and discuss the varieties of fish inhabiting the pond and Dave Shiley, U of I Extension, will share information regarding Pond Biology. Information regarding aeriation systems will be shared also by Tim Holt, Aquatic Solutions.   There will be time for questions and answers also. 


Please bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening with other fishing enthusiasts!

Place your orders now for our Fall Fish Sale! The pick up day is Saturday, October 20th starting at 7 am. Please see our order form below for fish availability. You may print this order form and bring it to our office, or you may call or email to place your order as well. We accept cash or check and payment is due upon placing an order.

The GPS address close to our office is 6 South Henning Rd., Danville, IL.  We are at the brick USDA building on the east side.  The large fish truck will be in the parking lot.  Follow the line of vehicles to pick up your fish.

Tree Sale 2018


Our annual Tree Sale is fast approaching! We are excited to share with you some new varieties to choose from this year. This year's pick-up date will take place Friday, April 13th (8am-4pm) and Saturday, April 14th (8am-noon).

Below you will find this year's order form, along with a fact sheet that includes all of the species we have available to order. You may print the order form and return it to the SWCD office. You may also call us, email us, or simply stop by the office to place an order.
